2007 was Kenya’s last election, and because of injustice, corruption and
tribalism Kenya was a disaster for three months due to violence and shifts in
power. We are hoping and praying that the election on March 4th will be peaceful and God’s protection upon the people of Kenya. However, the political status in
Kenya right now is very tense and it is hard to foresee what will follow this
We have spent a lot of time this month getting prepared for Kenya’s upcoming elections; including processing Lucy’s passport. We have been praying through the best option for our family, and with the support of our home churches, we will be able to safely travel to Tanzania, our boarding country during the election season to ensure our families protection.
Please join us in prayer for our families, friends, ministries partners and the entire country. Most people don’t have this option to seek shelter, so we are praying for God’s peace to dwell in all of Kenya. We are eternally grateful that we have home congregations that have our best interest at heart; it has warmed our heart to see how much people care and love us. For the bottom of our hearts, we are thankful to be your missionaries.
